A friend recommended Martin when I was looking for a car saying that her family has bought several cars from him over the years and I am so glad she did. I would highly recommend Bookle Auto Services. I found Martin fantastic to deal with. I told him what I was looking for and my price range and he did all the work in finding a fantastic car that matched what I was looking for. We looked at no less than about 10 cars before i decided on the 142 Golf that I went for. There was absolutely no pressure sales tactics. The car I got is a Golf Match- such high spec in comparison to the high line Golfs here. I am absolutely delighted with the car and also the great customer service. Martin was prompt in getting back to me , even well out of regular hours. He also rang a few weeks later to check on how I was getting on with the car. He definately goes above and beyond when dealing with people. Also I saved around 3000 euro when I compared the cost to similar cars in other garages so happy days! Our 18-year-old Honda CR-V broke down while heading home after our holidays. We were directed by locals to Martin Bookle, just a few meters away from where we had stopped. Martin took our car in right away and found what the issue was in 5 mins: the thermostat in the cooling system was stuck, causing the engine to overheat. Understandably, he didn’t have a replacement part for our brand/model. However, he figured out a quick fix so we were able to continue our trip home without further problems. I have been a customer of Martin Bookle for a long while now, he provides a top class and unequalled service. I live in Cork and have no hesitation whatsoever travelling to Martin Bookle because I cannot find anyone as good providing similar service. If you need top quality service and expertise then this is where you will get it, at Bookle Auto Services. I refer to Martin as “The engine whisperer” I drive 09 E Class and like it to be running right just like the previous Mercedes I have driven. I remember my last one had an airbag problem that couldn’t be fixed by anyone but Martin sorted the problem. and today he diagnosed a faulty engine mounting – having been told by others that the mounting was perfect. Martin changed the mounting and now my car is running perfect again, just the way I like it. with no rattles and knocks.
